Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Aridalia (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit aridalia.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Aridalia is an independent publication based in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The Site is operated by Vitalii Markov. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at author@aridalia.com.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you contact us through the contact form, submit a comment, or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you provide-typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.

When you submit an inquiry through a lead-generation form on service pages (for example, mold removal or water damage pages), the information you provide is transmitted to our partner network. Those partners operate under their own privacy policies. Where applicable, we disclose the partner on the form itself.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information when you visit the Site, including:

  • Server and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and time stamps. This is collected by our hosting provider (Hostinger) in standard server logs.
  • Security logs: Our security plugin (Wordfence) logs IP addresses and access attempts to protect the Site from abuse.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect information such as your IP address (truncated), device and browser data, pages viewed, and general geographic region. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.
  • Search Console data: We use Google Search Console and Rank Math’s Analytics integration to review how the Site appears in Google Search. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies for basic site functionality, analytics, and, where applicable, affiliate tracking (see below). You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the Site.

Affiliate links and partner programs

Aridalia participates in affiliate advertising programs, including the Amazon Associates Program. When you click certain product links on the Site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These programs use cookies to attribute referrals; the operators of those programs (such as Amazon) collect and process data under their own privacy policies.

Full details are available on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • respond to your messages and inquiries;
  • forward lead-form submissions to relevant service partners at your request;
  • protect the Site against abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
  • understand how visitors use the Site and improve our content;
  • comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: hosting, analytics, security, and email providers that operate the Site on our behalf.
  • Lead-generation partners: if you voluntarily submit a service inquiry, the information is transmitted to the partner network you requested a quote from.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Server and security logs are typically retained for a limited period (weeks to months) and then rotated out.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and the right to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at author@aridalia.com.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): Where GDPR applies, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal bases for processing include your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, and compliance with legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Third-party links

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including product pages on retailers such as Amazon. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted more prominently on the Site.
