What are the TOOVEM brands?

According to its corporate website, TOOVEM brings together equipment brands and organizes production and sales outside China. It lists AlorAir, Argendon, BaseAire and Abestorm as its brands. It offers factories support with product development, brand building, overseas stores, warehousing and repairs. The company describes a business model combining its own manufacturing with external suppliers. About us and brand portfolio; Partner Center

The connections also appear in the brands' day-to-day operations. AlorAir hosts a remote-control manual bearing the TOOVEM logo. The Argendon-C app in Apple's App Store is published by AlorAir Solutions Inc.; the same account also has AlorAir, AbeStorm and BaseAire apps.

The brands extend beyond dehumidifiers. PuriSystems sells air cleaners and dust-collection equipment. Its US trademark record lists PROSCO as the owner, as do the AlorAir registration and Argendon registration.

Who owns the trademarks?

The United States Patent and Trademark Office, or USPTO, lists PROSCO EMPIRE LIMITED as the owner of the registrations for ALORAIR, A ARGENDON, ABESTORM, BASEAIRE, TOOVEM, PURISYSTEMS, TRIGHTFILTERS. The company was incorporated in Hong Kong, as confirmed by the Companies Registry list, page 179. These records concern rights to US trademarks; ownership of the companies themselves requires separate corporate records.

HD35P and AirWerx 35P: matching component numbers

Parts catalogs allow a closer comparison of internal components. The catalogs for HD35P and AirWerx 35P use the same identifiers for the compressor, pump, control boards and the other components in the table.

Certification and development

Connections in certification records

Intertek tests and certifies products. In its ETL directory, a record under AlorAir Solutions Inc. groups models carrying the ALORAIR, ARGENDON, BaseAire and ABESTORM brands. Another record contains Sentinel, AirWerx, Guardian and IW-25 models and names Ningbo Kaiyue Import and Export in the Company field. These are connections in certification records; the fields alone do not identify the factory that made each unit.

Equipment development and the Refine name

US patent 10,436,461 B2, issued in 2019, describes a dehumidifier that uses collected cold condensate to precool incoming air. The applicant was Ningbo Free Trade Zone Refine Mould Technology; the named inventor was Rui Zhou.

The USPTO patent assignment record documents a name change from Ningbo Refine Mould Technology to Ningbo Refine Industry Technology. The latter name also appears in the Argendon trademark assignment. This record connects two names of a specific company; it does not disclose the complete ownership chain of all Refine companies.

How the warranties differ

The connected brands cover repair costs for different periods. For example, under AlorAir's updated terms, parts and labor are covered for the first two years. For Argendon, coverage from the second year is limited to the refrigeration system: the compressor, condenser and evaporator.

The AlorAir row applies to dehumidifiers other than whole-house ducted models. The updated terms apply to orders placed on or after May 14, 2026, and also cover purchases made April 14-May 13, 2026. The BaseAire row covers its low-profile dehumidifiers. The table concerns accepted warranty claims, subject to each brand's exclusions and service procedures. Product Warranty; BaseAire Quality Assurance Policy.

The AlorAir policy treats shipping separately from parts and labor. Return for Inspection applies when a customer declines the proposed service solution and chooses to send the unit to the company. A separate provision covers shipment of replacement parts for minor warranty repairs, which AlorAir pays for.

The BaseAire policy contains conflicting statements about the warranty on a replacement unit. One provision starts the new unit's warranty when it is delivered; another preserves only the remainder of the original term. That page does not establish an unambiguous warranty period after replacement.

Service addresses also overlap: Argendon lists its returns center at 14752 Yorba Ct, Chino, California, and AlorAir uses the same address for repairs. Claims follow each brand's separate contacts and procedures.

What this means for buyers

The USPTO records for AlorAir, Argendon, BaseAire, Abestorm list a common trademark owner. The same brands appear together in an Intertek certification record. Specifications are published by connected brands; repetition across several websites is not, by itself, independent verification.

Repair coverage offers a documented distinction for buyers. If coverage for parts outside the refrigeration system in the second year matters to you, AlorAir's updated warranty provides it; Argendon limits coverage to the refrigeration system by then. This compares warranty terms without claiming that either unit is more reliable.

Capacity and design choices across the ranges are covered in our AlorAir and Argendon reviews. Other brands appear in the dehumidifiers section.

Sources and research limits

This article draws on USPTO documents, Hong Kong Companies Registry records, company websites, the Intertek directory and parts catalogs. Warranty terms were checked against the four brands' policy pages. Research date: October 27, 2026. Aridalia did not test or disassemble the units.

The USPTO trademark records name the trademark owner, while the Hong Kong Companies Registry weekly list confirms PROSCO's incorporation. These documents do not disclose its ultimate shareholders. This research has not established the full structure of the Chinese companies or the factory behind every model. For our approach to evidence, see Aridalia's methodology.
